This round table will comprise 6 guest speakers – top managers of associated companies, specialists and local authorities – and will be moderated by apcc’s Vice-Chairman, Mr. João Cardoso. The discussion will focus on two key points: a) the relocation of contact centres from the urban centres to other areas in Portugal; b) attracting global contact centres to Portugal. Cisco, EDP, Transcom and the Mayors of Caldas da Rainha and Covilhã Town Halls have confirmed their presence.

      ROUND TABLE : Best practices in human resources management
       

This round table will comprise 6 guest speakers – top managers of associated companies, researchers and specialists – and will be moderated by apcc’s Vice-Chairman, Mr. Francisco Cesário. The aim is to present and discuss best practices in the management of human resources for Portuguese companies’ contact centres. Each guest speaker will make a 5 minutes summary presentation that will serve as the basis for the discussion that will be led by the moderator. Sonaecom, RH mais, Great Places to Work, Prosegur Activa and Professor Maria José Chambel have confirmed their presence.

The aim will be to present contact centres’ specialized services, a great advantage, and to discuss the macro-economic impact that these services have on the Portuguese economy, disassociating contact centres’ activity from services of less value and lower remuneration. Each guest will make a 5 minute summary presentation that will provide a basis for the discussion that will be led by the moderator.
