Opening Session

This round table comprises 6 guest speakers - top managers of associated companies, specialists and trade unions representatives - and will be moderated by Pedro Champalimaud, Management Chairman of apcc. The aim is discuss legislative factors and their impact on the contact centres’ activity in Portugal. VEDIOR, APG, CPGL Advogados have confirmed their presence.

This round table will comprise 6 guest speakers – top managers of associated companies, specialists and local authorities – and will be moderated by apcc’s Vice-Chairman, Mr. João Cardoso. The discussion will focus on two key points: a) the relocation of contact centres from the urban centres to other areas in Portugal; b) attracting global contact centres to Portugal. Cisco, EDP, Transcom and the Mayors of Caldas da Rainha and Covilhã Town Halls have confirmed their presence.

This round table comprises 6 guest speakers – top managers of associated companies and specialists – and will be moderated by the Chairman of AproCS e Inpar, Mr. Rui Santos. The aim will be to present contact centres’ specialized services, a great advantage, and to discuss the macro-economic impact that these services have on the Portuguese economy, disassociating contact centres’ activity from services of less value and lower remuneration. Each guest will make a 5 minute summary presentation that will provide a basis for the discussion that will be led by the moderator. CRH, BPI, Santander, Santa Casa da Misericórdia and ISLA have confirmed their presence.
